Location and Facilities

Place:  This workshop takes place in the natural beauty of Story Ranch, a 55+ acre sustainable working farm and wilderness sanctuary. It is nestled at 7,000 feet along the Tecolote River in northeastern New Mexico, near Las Vegas. Surrounded by ponderosa pine, oak, and juniper forest, the land invites exploration, reflection, and deep connection to the natural world. Participants should be prepared for walking on natural, uneven trails and navigating moderate elevation changes.

Enjoy a spring-fed, refreshing swimming pool, a tranquil cattail pond perfect for birdwatching, and the company of mama goats and their playful kids. Gather fresh organic eggs from our chickens, watch turkeys and friendly geese roam, meet our three affectionate dogs, wander among ducks, and savor fresh greens and herbs from our organic gardens.
